Verrucaplana Looks Like

: evolution or revolution?

[INTRO (not read): I decided to continue the way of blogging, and over, I have committed myself to maintain a stronger presence in etc. (I say here, step to strengthen the commitment). The last two months have been for me a refreshing dip (cooling concepts, we) in the world of Social Media , which was a bit stale, buried under the weight of Websites for SMEs . The fact is that tools and interest has come a long way, but there are theoretical concepts that have not changed much from my time DiceLaRed and LastInfoo . What is clear is that companies are much more receptive, and I have returned to looking forward to reflect on all that you are cooking. All these troubles of mine are going to stop the client results Territory, and most of my sleepless nights making the public go etc and some here. In general, I will quote the posts etc from here, something I will not do the reverse, for some unknown reason.]

etc. My first post on Social Media Marketing , has been on the definition. This is truly shared vision from Creative Territory: Social Media Marketing is a new corporate function that evaluates the impact of social media for a particular company, and introduces them pursuant to that assessment, the components of the strategy corporate marketing touch, as are advertising, media, product development (and market research), and customer (and loyalty).

And besides, we set five beliefs: that it is a revolution that is not advertising or communication, but on the contrary, that since then, the SMM is not "advertising" in social media, and therefore can not be compared with other "disciplines" of online marketing, and that this is no fashion.

In the post "Social Media Marketing as our gospel " will find all the details.

Here I would like to emphasize only one of the reflections of the original post. We said we believe that this social media is a revolution not an evolution . I remember in my days as a "consultant e-Business" at PwC, stated that the e-Business was an e-volution: use the provided Internet connectivity to evolve the business functions, including communications along the supply chain. Obviously, at that time Internet was seen as a publishing medium to-many, or a platform for information transmission. That is, an evolution.
However, what is happening with Web 2.0 has little to do with it. What is happening is that advertising and traditional corporate communications, lose effectiveness, and the means of life, consumer waste time. In some segments of the population, they lose almost everything. Thus, the only possibility for the company to continue working when Share your messages, encrypted codes go understanding of culture 2.0. And that means "revolution." When 100 years, advertising has worked with formats is now crumbled, and now new media are not readily admit the concept of "advertising" advertising function "does not evolve." Must be transformed. And although many are still left to manage advertising space (which will never disappear), the game more interesting and risky, will be played where advertising is usually not as well received: social media.

If companies do not realize that they face a revolution, will settle for placing ads on Facebook or send press releases to bloggers. And so they (we) go.

For that, we believe that revolution. And you?
